What is Precious Tresses?
What Precious Tresses IS... a system of products that I've developed based on what I used to grow my hair. And who am I? I'm Adrienne, founder of Precious Tresses. If you're familiar with the online hair boards, my screen name is Adrienne0914 on all them.
What Precious Tresses ISN'T... It's not a grow six inches in a month scheme. There are many of those on the market, but I have yet to see documentation of any that actually worked. Heck, if I had, I'd use it too. But you know the old saying... if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Anyway, way back in May of 2000, my hair was only a couple of inches long:
It looked healthy, but stayed the same length for almost twenty years. Frustrated with what I found in the beauty supply stores, I went online looking for something to help. I remember thinking that if I could just find that magic product or pill, all my problems would be solved.
With the help of some awesome ladies educating me along the way, I learned that there is no "magic" product or pill. BUT with the right combination of products and some TLC, my hair would grow. By the end of 2003, it was almost to my waist.
There was a lot of trial and error, and mixing products in the bathroom to come up with what proved to be successful.
Fast forward to now... With one of the best product developers in the country, I've taken what I learned and designed a line of products so that you don't have to waste time and money doing the experimenting that I did. And in addition to providing quality hair products, I will also share with you the techniques that I used to help grow my hair.
If you are like I was back in 2000, you might be frustrated with trying to grow your hair. You may think it will never happen. That's what I thought too, but I was able to do it—even with severe psoriasis. If you don't have that issue, it will probably be much easier for you!
